About Renting

1. How does Rent the Look work?

It's simple! Browse our collection, select an outfit, choose your rental dates, and check out. We deliver your outfit to your doorstep within 60 minutes (in Gurgaon). After 3 days, we pick it up from the same address. You wear it, love it, return it — hassle-free.

2. Do I need to create an account to rent?

No, we support guest checkout! However, creating an account lets you track orders, save addresses, create wishlists, and get notified when items are back in stock.

3. What's included in the rental?

Everything you need: the outfit, professional cleaning, steaming, 60-minute delivery, and scheduled pickup. All included in the price.

4. How long can I keep the outfit?

The standard rental period is 3 days, starting from the time of delivery. Need more time? You can extend your rental via your orders section.

5. Can I rent multiple outfits at once?

Absolutely! You can add multiple items to your cart and rent them together. Each will follow the same 3-day cycle unless you specify different dates.

Pricing & Payments

6. How is the rental price calculated?

Rental prices depend on the garment's brand, category, and retail value. Each product clearly shows its 3-day rental price.

7. What's the security deposit for?

The refundable security deposit covers major damage or non-return. It's fully refunded within 24–48 hours of pickup unless there's a significant issue.

8. What payment methods are accepted?

We use Razorpay for secure payments. You can pay via:

  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.)
  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • Net Banking
  • Wallets

9. Are there any hidden charges?

No. All costs are shown upfront — rental fee, deposit, and any optional extensions. Delivery and pickup are always free in Gurgaon.

Fit, Size & Styling

10. How do I choose the right size?

Each product has a size guide. If you're unsure, our team is available via WhatsApp to assist you with measurements and fit advice.

11. What if it doesn't fit me?

Contact us immediately. If the outfit hasn't been worn, we'll try to arrange a quick replacement or issue a credit for future use.

12. Do you offer alterations?

We currently do not offer custom tailoring, but our garments are fitted to standard Indian sizes and cleaned/pressed before delivery.

13. Can I try the outfit before renting?

Not yet. However, we're working on an "At-Home Try-On" feature for the future. Stay tuned!

Hygiene & Maintenance

14. Are the outfits cleaned between rentals?

Yes. All outfits are professionally dry-cleaned, sanitized, and quality-checked before every delivery.

15. Is it safe to wear rented clothing?

Absolutely. Our hygiene standards are top-tier. Each garment is:

  • Steam-treated
  • Dry-cleaned with antimicrobial processes
  • Individually packed

16. Can I clean the outfit myself?

Please don't. We handle all cleaning to ensure the garment's fabric and embellishments are properly cared for.

Delivery, Pickup & Returns

17. When will I receive my order?

If you're in Gurgaon, we offer 60-minute delivery — even same day. You can also schedule a future delivery slot at checkout.

18. How is pickup arranged?

We auto-schedule your pickup for 3 days after delivery. You'll get a reminder and confirmation via WhatsApp or SMS.

19. What if I miss the pickup?

You can reschedule easily via your profile or contact support. We allow 1 free reschedule per order.

20. Can I return the outfit earlier than 3 days?

Yes, just let us know — we'll pick it up earlier if that's more convenient.

Extending or Buying an Outfit

21. Can I extend my rental?

Yes. Go to the Orders section and tap "Extend." You'll see the extra charges per day. We'll confirm availability and update your pickup.

22. What happens if I keep it longer without extending?

A late fee applies for unnotified delays. We'll remind you before your return date, and you can always extend in one click.

23. Can I buy the outfit if I like it?

Yes! If no one else has rented it for upcoming dates, you'll see a "Buy Now" option in your Orders section. Pricing is discounted from retail.

Cancellations, Refunds & Policies

24. Can I cancel an order?

Yes — up to 4 hours before delivery for a full refund. After that, partial refunds or credits may apply depending on timing.

25. When will I get my security deposit back?

Once we pick up your outfit and inspect it, your deposit is refunded within 24–48 hours.

26. What if the outfit is damaged or stained?

Minor wear is okay. But if there's major, irreparable damage (tears, burns, etc.), a fee may be deducted from your deposit. We'll inform you first.

27. What if I return the item late?

A small late fee applies per day after your return date. Please extend in advance to avoid this.

Wishlist & Availability

28. Can I add outfits to a wishlist?

Yes! Save outfits for later — even if they're currently unavailable. We'll notify you when they're back in stock.

29. Do you notify users when outfits become available?

Yes, if you've added an item to your wishlist, we'll notify you via email or WhatsApp as soon as it's available.

30. Can I see unavailable dates before booking?

Yes. Each product shows its booked/unavailable dates so you can plan ahead.
